WA Auto Appraisal — Diminished Value, LOU & Total Loss

Vehicle Appraisals & Claim Management

Transparency isn’t just a tagline — it’s our promise.

We publish upfront pricing and explain every step so you know what to expect. Whether you need a flat-rate diminished value appraisal or hourly claim support, you’ll always know costs before work begins.

How It Works

Every vehicle and claim is different, which is why most services require you to submit documents before we begin.  An initial review is complementary, however payment will be due prior to any report creation or other services rendered.

Clear instructions are included with each service description.

To keep things moving smoothly:

  • Gather and submit all required documents together.
  • Incomplete submissions may delay your review or lead to inaccurate results.

For flat-rate services, payment is due at the time of booking (after a complimentary review).
For hourly services, a deposit is required at booking, billed in 15-minute increments.
For public adjuster representation, fees are charged on a contingency basis. A flat appraisal fee applies up front, and if you choose full claim representation, a percentage of your recovery is due only when your claim is settled.  (effective October 1, 2025)

Refund Policy

Payments made to Claim Complete Auto Appraisals™ are generally non-refundable, as our time, analysis, and professional attention are devoted to your file once work has begun. We do not use algorithms or automated valuation software in calculating your diminished value. Every report receives a full human review of all relevant factors that could affect value to ensure the most precise and supportable outcome possible.

To ensure expectations are clear, please make sure all requested documentation is provided before your service is scheduled.

Automated Calculators

Fees paid for automated calculators or self-service valuation tools (such as Quick Calculators) are non-refundable.
However, if you later choose to purchase a full professional appraisal, the cost of your calculator will be credited toward the appraisal fee, provided the purchase occurs within 30 days of the calculator order.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an appraisal before the completed report has been delivered, a $75 administrative fee will apply.
Cancellations must be requested in writing. Any approved refund (minus this fee) will be processed only after confirmation of payment.

Rescheduling

For Claim Clarity Consultations, appointments may be rescheduled up to three (3) times without charge.
After the third reschedule, the consultation fee will be considered forfeited.

Limited Money-Back Assurance

We stand behind the quality of our work and the accuracy of our valuation process.  To help ensure your financial interests, we provide a complimentary initial review prior to the professional appraisal to provide an estimated outcome for our clients.  While appraisal fees are not contingent on outcome, a refund may be considered if the following conditions are fully met:

  1. You pursued small claims recovery and notified Claim Complete Auto Appraisals™ prior to your small claims hearing of your intent to pursue the matter in court, and you submitted our appraisal and supporting documentation as evidence;
  2. The final court award was less than the total amount paid for the appraisal; and
  3. You provide a copy of the court’s judgment or order confirming the award amount.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 12 months of the claim initiation date, accompanied by court documentation verifying the outcome. Requests that do not include this proof will not be eligible for consideration.

Exclusions

Refunds will not be issued in cases where:

  • The appraisal was connected to a claim where you were at fault or coverage was denied for non-valuation reasons (please let us know if your claim was denied as denials are not always accurate - we can provide help with these cases);
  • Misrepresentation of any material facts around the claim or information provided for consideration in your appraisal;
  • The vehicle was leased, not repaired, or had previously undisclosed damage;
  • You executed a release of liability with the insurer or other party;
  • The insurer reimbursed or paid for the appraisal fee;
  • The insurer was insolvent, in bankruptcy, or the claim was handled through subrogation;
  • You retained an attorney or representative after receiving the appraisal.

Chargebacks or Stopped Payments

Unauthorized chargebacks or payment reversals are considered invalid disputes and may be reported as such to the payment processor or relevant authorities.

By booking or purchasing any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
